These journals typically provide all the information that an event program normally would, but also provide companies and individuals an opportunity to purchase ad space within the journal. It is a win-win opportunity for them, as they can donate money to your cause, but they also get targeted advertising in return.

These journals are distributed at your event, to people who have similar values (they are all there to support the same cause) so advertisers will get promoted with a positive affiliation. You can allow people to purchase the ad space or include it within your sponsorship packages as an added incentive.
